Solar compass for precise location measurements

Success Story FuE Vectronix EN

Using a sensor the size of a sugar cube, observation devices are able to pinpoint the true north direction by reference to the sun. The associated technology was developed by Vectronix and CSEM in two CTI projects funded under the 2011 special measures to compensate for the strong value of the Swiss franc.
