CTI is promoting corporate business in a targeted manner. A successful business relies on four fundamentals: know-how, staying power, financial resources and a professional team. CTI provides access to these key elements. It offers to promote innovation, in addition to providing coaching, knowledge-transfer and training for SMEs as well as for start-ups.

It is not unusual that a successful business started out with an unconventional idea. But this alone is not enough in order to attain commercial success. Programmes and networks, launched by CTI, provide access to the necessary tools and methodologies, so as to be able to successfully implement a business idea in a new company.

With the initative CTI Entrepreneurship the CTI wishes to promote the entrepreneurial spirit . Therefore It has launched the advisory and training program "CTI Entrepreneurship", which is intended to inspire entrepreneurial spirit. The programme offers targeted training modules to potential young entrepreneurs, as well as those who are already active.

Since 1996, CTI has also been supporting successful, innovative individuals to set up new companies by means of its initiative CTI Start-up. Until today, more than one two thousand two hundred projects have been reviewed. Of these, over two hundred and sixty-five have been distinguished by means of the CTI Start-up label. 85 percent of these are still in business. They have created more than ten thousand new, highly-qualified jobs.

The "Public Private Partnership" represent another instrument which CTI is looking to develop further and extend it in the future. One initiative resulting from these efforts is the independent association CTI Invest, which supports young companies on their way to finding initial financing.
